Thanks everyone!!!

Thanks to everyone who had time to come to the baby shower!!!! Special thanks to Tiff and Jess for putting the whole thing together and co-hosting it :)

I know that everyone was saying that we don't need to write thank you cards since we said thank you in person, but we (ok fine I) might do it any way but will make sure it is something fun and original. Can't wait till the baby is born and he can smile and gurgle a thank you himself for the generous gifts. :)

Hope that everyone had fun and am SO glad that we got a chance to see so many of you that we havent' seen in a while.

32.5 Week Update

So get ready for a slew of doctor visit blogs coming up. I am going to the doctor once every two and then once a week from now till birth.

Went to a new doctor this time - Dr. Murray who actually works in Labor and Delivery over at the hospital we will be taking our baby to. I really liked her

Here is a summary of the new things I learned today about baby Gawain:

* Looks like our lil boy is in the fifty percentile range in size for babies his age. He is not too big and not too small. He is just right :)
* She approximates him being 7-7.5 lbs when he is born. It's around the "California average." Did anyone know that they had different baby averages for different states?
* He is head down right now which means that chances are his head will be down closer to the due date. It is good since the right position for the baby to be birthed is head down and facing my backside.

Tried to scanned the ultrasound pictures she gave me (Ray wasn't there to take photos) but they didn't come out right so they may be added later.

Ray and I are getting more and more excited as the baby grows and our due date draws near :) We are so glad we can share this experience with everyone too!

Spring Training is here!

And with spring training there are always changes to the roster. For the Dodgers, Joe Torre is the new manager, Andruw Jones is in the outfield, and Jason Schmidt is still on the DL (ok so not everything changes).

Consider one more addition though, in two months there will be a new frustrated Dodgers fan futilely rooting for the home team all season long. And of course, he must have all the right clothing wear to do so. We picked up the jersey onesies recently and got the hat last year. Aren't they cool? And thanks to Katsu for the awesome Maclaren rocker he'll be using while watching the Dodgers lose their away games on TV.
